Oh wells everyone, I triereds my harderests to beats Wage today ins the Challenge, buts very closers to the finisherings line the hammeringstring in my lefters leg wents pop likes I thought only a popperings balloon could does.

Ouchers, boy oh boys did that hurts, but thankfullies it only takereds Wage a minuter or so to realise that something was wrongs and to come and finders me. He didn't even want to hears any congratumulations, at leasts not untils I had been checkereds out by the locals doctor and gettereds the all clears.

Now thats what friendlies is really likes, and I sure does has a perfecters friendly in Wage!

He even offereds to cheers me up by joinerings me in some final days Hogmanay streakerings, come on and joins in with us, shakes your uglies!!!

Event #5 - 1 Mile Runners

It's all down to this long stretch of prime running track, 1 solitary mile stands between Babo and Wage deciding who will be the feature of next years photo-a-day, 366 project.

For almost the entire mile the lead was changing every second or two, with the pair trying with all their might and energy to stay in front of the other, in the hope that it may demoralise their opponent.

It wasn't until the finish line was in sight that the pair took their speed to a whole new level, when suddenly, SNAP!, something in Babo's leg had given up with only a few short meters left to the line.

Wage, who had no idea what had happened behind him sprinted over the line, taking the cheers from the crowd who had gathered to find out who the winner of the challenge would be.

"Waaaaaaage, Waaaaaage, Waaaaaaaage" cheered the crowd over and over as Wage jumped up and down in excitement at winning the competition outright!

With Babo leading the challenge 2 points to Wages 1, it was time to head back over to the challenge table where both of the competitors were sat on either side of a central dividing wall.

On the table before them was a spot the difference puzzle, which neither of them had seen before and also both had no idea how many differences there were.

To make this event more interesting there was a 1 minute time limit set, at the end of which the whistle would blow and both competitors had to immediately drop their pencils.

As the whistle blew both Babo and Wage stood supremely confident that they had found all possible differences between the two images.

As the judges counted it turns out that Babo had found 6 differences, and Wage 1 more to give him a score of 7 and to tie the challenge up at 2 events each with only the final 1 mile run left to go...

Event #3 - Cookie Balancing

Even as the pair of Babo and Wage prepared for the start of the Cookie Balancing event the mindgames were on, as they jostled each other for space in the "compemetitions area" as they kept referring to it.

"Smells good doesn't they", Wage suggested to Babo, who replied with "Justs remembers to balancers them and nots eater them alls, ha ha!".

As the whistle blew the pair began stacking cookie after cookie onto their arms, resisting the temptation to forget the competition for a second and take a bite...

Both had 5 cookies balanced nicely on their first arm and were starting to work on their second arm when disaster struck. As Wage lifted his sixth cookie the tower of 5 began to wiggle side to side and there was nothing he could do to stop them hitting the floor in front of him.

Babo, knowing that he had won his second event in a row, decided that having 6 cookies balanced was no where near good enough and continued on until he had 6 cookies balanced on each arm - 12 cookies in total...!!!

Even now as Wage gets his head sorted out before event #4, Babo is still parading around with his 12 cookies stacked high on his arms, posing for photographs!

"Checkers me out, wooohooo, strongerests ugly of the worlds!!!", he kept shouting to the worlds press who had gathered to cover the outcome of the event...

After his defeat in the Press Ups event Babo was left with having to let Wage have first crack at the first of two mental agility challenges, which this time involved having to complete a jigsaw puzzle against the clock.

Wage posted the bar very high completing the jigsaw puzzle in a time of 1 minute and 14 seconds.

Babo stepped up to the table with a look of real determination in his eyes, and as soon as the stopwatch started running he was an ugly on a mission.

"DONES!", Babo shouted with the clock reading a mere 53 seconds, quite an awesome display of mental agility as I'm sure you'll agree.

"I owes my mentallers agilities win to Mireille who stayeds up late lasts night to makers me this awesomers headband, it's keeperings my brain warmeds up and full chargereds!"

Even Wage gave Babo a thumbs up for such an amazing effort in this event!

Incase you're in the dark about what's going on here, Babo has challenged Wage to compete against him in 5 events, with the eventual winner being the one to accompany me every day next year.

The 5 events chosen for their competition are:-

5 - 1 Mile Runners

With the rules being very simple:-

Eachers competimitor musts takers parters in 5 discimiplines, withs there beings a clearers winner of each eventer and the firsts competimitor to wins 3 of the 5 eventers will be declareds the winners.

Event #1 - 100 Press-Ups

Both Babo and Wage started off with an intense flurry of press-ups, but once the pair broke through the 60 milestone, Babo began to fade, and fade quickly!

"sixty one's, siiiixty twoooo's, siiii....", and wham!, Babo faceplanted the workout mat in exhaustion, while Wage continued onward to complete his 100 push-ups and take the first win of the competition.
