St George used his knowledge of ice-dragons to lay a trap that he knew they were powerless to resist, a pile of cookies.
Whoopsie galloped away with St George on his back as soon as the cookie trap was laid, as they both knew it wouldn't take long for the ice-dragons to pick up the scent.
